A Spelling Lesson today.

S: Is for the smog that surrounds us on Hot, Humid Days.

U: Is for an umbrella, strategically placed over a bright, yellow Muskoka Chair.

M: Is for Mango Salad at the Thai Plate Restaurant on Memorial Avenue, in Orillia.

M: Is for Martinis, shaken not stirred.

E: Is for early evening strolls along the lake.

R: is for riding your bike along shaded paths.

T: Is for trips to Dairy Queen for a Peanut Buster Parfait.

Dairy Queen or Pride Parade Queen?


I: Is for isolated showers that cool us down and keep our lawns green and lush.

M: Is for music from the 60’s, thumping from the speakers of a 66 Chevy.

E: Is for the Exhibition- a summer highlight each and every year.

Put them all together they spell S U M M E R T I M E in Canada.
Does it get any better?

I don’t believe it does…
